Christine Chiasson of CC Voice Coaching

About Me

Hi! I’m Christine Chiasson, welcome to my website!

I help singers get ready for auditions, performances, and real situations — college and musical theater auditions, gigs, microphones, and moments where preparation matters.

I don’t work lesson-to-lesson. We decide what you’re preparing for, and our sessions are focused on getting you ready for that specific thing.

The work is practical, efficient, and grounded in what actually happens in the room.

I also work extensively with the aging voice — singers navigating changes in range, stamina, flexibility, or confidence over time. This work focuses on adapting technique, rebuilding coordination, and understanding how the voice changes so singers can continue to sing with strength, freedom, and enjoyment rather than frustration.

A lot of parents and singers come in unsure of what schools or audition panels are really looking for. That’s normal. Part of my job is helping you sort through the noise — choosing appropriate material, understanding cuts and styles, and preparing in a way that makes sense instead of feeling overwhelming.

My training includes certification in Speech Level Singing (SLS), the Neuro-Vocal Method, and the Deva Method, with a strong Bel Canto–based technical foundation underneath it all. I don’t teach one system or one style — I use what works to help singers sing healthily and confidently across genres and audition requirements.

I also work with singers on advanced musicianship and contemporary styles, including riffing, harmony, and stylistic clarity in pop, rock, jazz, blues, and music theater, so they’re not just singing notes but actually understanding what they’re doing.

About piano:
When piano is part of our work, it’s practical. I help singers learn enough keyboard skills to accompany themselves, understand harmony, and rehearse independently. I’m not teaching classical piano repertoire — the piano supports the voice.
